A Typical Class

A usual Discovery Bubbles class will entail engaging activities with weekly topics, group activities and games and a chance to explore the musical instruments and free play. Classes are informal, relaxed and welcoming with class numbers kept small to prevent the little ones from feeling overwhelmed and nervous. Class instructor, Georgia will get to know all the parents, babies and toddlers over the term, building positive and personal relationships whilst catering to your toddlers individual learning stages.

How is this different to Wonder Bubbles and Family Bubbles?

Discovery Bubbles is different to Wonder Bubbles as it won't feature the topics of baby signing (however if you are signing at home, I'd be more than happy to discuss this in class). Classes will also have age appropriate challenges and activities to complete, as well as toys to support your toddlers learning through play. Classes are engaging and exciting with new topics each week, activities and sensory opportunities to be had.

Discovery Bubbles is slightly different to Family Bubbles. Discovery Bubbles has different termly themes suitable to the different learning stages of that age group, creating new challenges, solving problems and discovering more. Discovery Bubbles uses more flashcards to aid and support the learning from each activity and keeps classes to a small size with other similar aged children.

Why a toddler/pre-schooler class when it's called Baby Bubble Club?

Many parents start off by attending the Dreamy Bubbles class and then after a term or two, go on to Wonder Bubbles. Many stay on at Wonder Bubbles for a few terms, but eventually their baby has outgrown the baby class and is ready for a new challenge, which is then usually Family Bubbles. Once they have been in Family Bubbles a while and are at least 19 months old, they are ready for our older class and this is where Discovery Bubbles comes in. Discovery Bubbles is that next stage when they're ready for a new challenge and opportunity. It's lovely getting to know the children and the parents over the months and year but it sadly reaches an end point and parents, as do I! become saddened that it's time for the babies to flee Baby Bubble Club to find a new class suitable for toddlers. Well worry this no more! As by popular demand you can stay on at Baby Bubble Club until your toddler reaches 4 years old!

Can I join this class with my 4 and half year old?

Discovery Bubbles is suitable for toddlers aged 19 months to 4 years old. Classes are for up to 4 years and ideally not over to prevent older children from becoming bored as they will be ready for that next stage in their learning and development. However, if you think your older 4 year old would benefit from a class like this, then this is entirely your decision and you are welcome to join us.
